Stroll down to Lynwood Center just 2.5 miles if you go the long way by the shoreline or 2 miles driving over Baker hill. Enjoy cruising the shops or getting a bite to eat at one of the cafes. The Beach House restaurant has a fabulous view of Rich Passage. On Sundays we have the Lynwood market, a non-profit corporation with the stated goal of building a children's playground in the Lynwood area in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department and their Foundation.

Saturday's at the Bainbridge Farmers Market, more than 40 vendors offer fresh, local produce, flowers and plants, specialty foods, beautiful crafts and much, much more. Shop, eat, listen to great music, and enjoy one of Bainbridge Island’s grandest traditions.

The 9-hole 'Meadowmeer' course at the Meadowmeer Golf & Country Club facility provides plenty of fun and challenge! Lots of personality on every hole as this well-maintained course is always in great playing shape. We feature 2,824 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Most golfers play 18 holes as the 18 hole set up is designed to be played from different tee boxes on the back nine.

The Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island is an internationally renowned public garden and forest preserve. The founder’s vision was “to provide refreshment and tranquility in the presence of natural beauty,” and the Reserve’s mission is to “enrich people’s lives through a premier public garden of natural and designed Pacific Northwest landscapes.” The Reserve’s 150 acres are a unique blend of natural woodlands and beautifully landscaped gardens, including a Japanese Garden, a Moss Garden, a Reflection Pool and the Bloedels’ former estate home.

With 4 tasting rooms an easy walk from the Seattle ferry (scroll down for details), there’s almost always a place to taste wine on Bainbridge. And, several of the wineries are open on weekends during the summer or by appointment. You can even rent bikes at the ferry terminal to get around. But best of all, all 7 wineries are open for tasting and tours on select weekends throughout the year.

Just 25 minutes away over Agate Pass bridge on the Kitsap Peninsula is the town of Poulsbo. Experience authentic Norwegian heritage, walk quaint shop lined streets, and stroll the boardwalk on beautiful Liberty Bay. Rent a Kayak and enjoy a closer look at the local scenery. When you’re ready to rest, picnic in the waterfront park or enjoy the best of northwest and international cuisine at one of many fine restaurants. Over 130 Antique Shops, Art Galleries, Bakeries, Professionals, Restaurants, & businesses serving you.

During the week you can hail the ferry commuter bus right out in front of the house. Stepping off the ferry in Seattle you find yourself at the Seattle Waterfront; one of Seattle’s most unforgettable neighborhoods with spectacular views of Elliott Bay. Visitors can enjoy fresh Pacific Northwest seafood, eclectic souvenir and curio shops, scenic ferry rides, or a visit to the Seattle Aquarium. Or, take a walk along the piers and simply enjoy the view.

Pike Place Market is the city’s center for fresh, local produce, specialty food and small independent businesses. Established in 1907 to connect citizens and farmers, the Market continues its “Meet the Producer” tradition with a year-round farmers market, owner-operated bakeries, fish markets, butcher shops, produce stands and specialty food stores.

Within the nine acre Market historic district is a daily crafts market, which features the quality work of 225 craftspeople, and more than 200 unique owner-operated shops and services. There are more than 80 restaurants within the Market boundaries, from take out counters to fine dining establishments.

Hop the monorail from downtown Seattle to arrive at the Seattle Center. Originally built for the 1962 World's Fair, the 74-acre Seattle Center is a park, arts, and entertainment center. Its lankmark feature is the 605-foot tall Space Needle, a now-iconic building that was, at its completion, the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. Seattle Center is home to award-winning theatre companies, professional sports teams, museums, internationally acclaimed ballet and opera, a nationally recognized children's theatre and hands-on children's museum and exciting scientific exhibitions. We play host to remarkable arts, cultural, educational and community programs and international festivals. Once the site of Native American celebrations, Seattle Center continues to be a social and cultural gathering place for people around the world.

Just steps from the ferry is the old town Seattle, Pioneer Square. You never know what you are going to discover waltzing along the storied streets of Seattle's historic heart - enticing cuisine from the world's four corners, unique shops and delightful boutiques, epic pro sports, and night life ranging from manic to romantic. It's all here, waiting to be explored....
